Testing Philosophy

In all coursework, the testing philosophy encourages self-motivated learning.  Instructors assist students in discovering what they have mastered and what material requires additional effort.  HTSMT encourages student success by providing opportunities to try out new concepts and skills in a variety of settings until they become second nature.  If a student has a learning disability every effort will be made to support their successful completion of testing.

Satisfactory Progress

In order to maintain good standing at Healing Touch School of Massage Therapy, students must be passing in all classes and progressing toward the completion of their program within the framework of the course schedule as stated in the Enrollment Agreement.  A student who fails to make satisfactory progress during the program will be placed on probation.  This may result in extra expense if the student requires tutorial and/or retaking a section of the course in order to receive a satisfactory grade.  It is the intention and goal of the faculty and staff of Healing Touch School of Massage Therapy to provide a supportive environment in which each student can work to the best of her or his ability to fulfill individual goals.
