CPR/First Aid Requirement

Students must complete a First Aid Course prior to receiving their certificate.  Certification on both First Aid and CPR must be current at the time of program completion and copies of certification must be in the student’s file in order to graduate.  The CPR instructor must be certified by the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association or the National Safety Council.  The cost of these classes is not included in tuition, nor are the hours included in the total program hours.

Professional Massage Requirement

Students are required to receive and pay for two professional therapeutic massages prior to the first day of class.  Those massages must be from their massage techniques instructors.  Contact the school for information on contacting their instructors to complete this requirement.  In addition, as a complement to the classroom experience, students must receive and pay for three additional professional therapeutic massages (each using a different massage technique) during the course of the program.

Changes to the HTSMT Program

Due to circumstances and/or in the interest of improving our program changes to the program may occur.  HTSMT will keep all students informed of these changes.  All currently enrolled students may elect to complete the program as it was structured when they enrolled, or choose to proceed under the amended or revised program.
