Should a student receive a failing grade (below 70 percent) on any written, oral or practical exam, a second form of the same exam must be taken within one week.

*  Only one retake per test is allowed.

*  A missed exam must be taken within one week of the date of the original exam.

*  There is a maximum of 3 re-takes per class.

 

The student must pass all courses in order to complete the program.  To pass a course, all projects, exams and quizzes must be completed and turned in and an average of 75 % must be achieved in all courses.  Should a student fail a course s/he must repeat the class and receive a passing grade in order to graduate from the program.  Repeat classes will entail the normal fee for the class and are subject to space availability.

 

If a student is not making satisfactory academic progress, the instructor may call a meeting with the student and Director to develop an individual academic contract to complete the course.

 

* One test per class may be retaken at no additional charge.  Subsequent retake tests will cost the student $40.00 for most written exams and $50.00 / hr for a practical exam.
